The Management Centre, Bangor Business School has developed a series of Leadership and Management Workshops, which part funded by the European Social Fund through the Welsh Assembly Government. 70% funding is available to small to medium sized businesses and 50% funding is available to larger organisations.

The Workshops focus on self awareness development, identifying who you are, understanding why you think, feel and behave the way you do. Without being aware of yourself, you are likely to repeat the same mistakes and without it you can never breakthrough the internal barriers to your own personal development and the growth of others.

The Self Awareness development programme helps managers identify gaps in their management skills, which promote skill development. Self Awareness also helps managers find situations in which they will be most effective, assists with intuitive decision making and aids stress management and motivation.

The Programme can be tailored to meet the needs of leaders and managers at every stage of their careers, from first line or aspiring first line managers to senior leaders and managers.

The Programme begins with a 2 day workshop, which is followed by coaching support within organisations. Another 2 day workshops follows which will focus on how to apply the knowledge from the first workshop into the workplace and cover topics such as working in teams, solving problems, decision making and ultimately how to optimise performance with others.

The Programme will be delivered at The Management Centre, Bangor Business School, a world class training and conference centre will 4* Visit Wales graded guest accommodation. Overlooking the picturesque Menai Strait, The Management Centre provides the ideal environment, highly conducive to learning. The Programme can also be delivered in house within organisations if preferred.

All Workshops are accredited by the Institute of Leadership and Management and the Chartered Institute of Leadership and Management.
