Introduction to Microsoft Word & PowerPoint 2007: Duration (4hrs)
Word 2007
This course is aimed at people who have very little knowledge of Microsoft Word 2007, it focuses on basic document production and is designed to give the learner a sound understanding of how documents are created, formatted, and printed. The skills and knowledge covered on this course are sufficient to create documents including letters, memos, faxes, basic flyers, basic newsletters etc.

Power Point 2007
This course is primarily designed for people who need to know how to use Microsoft PowerPoint to create presentations or printed posters. It will also give you a few tips on how to make presentations effective by using good design and adding multimedia content. PowerPoint 2007 interface

- Add sound and video
- Design your own layout
Pre-requisites and audience: No prior knowledge of Microsoft Word or Power Point is required, however, it is necessary to have a general understanding of PC’s and the Windows operating system as well as some knowledge of the world wide web.
The Digital World: Duration (1hr)
This module introduces the digital world of the computer and how it contrasts with the real analogue world. This workshop is designed for people who want to understand the basics of information technology and obtain a basic knowledge to be able to confidently communicate with IT departments, and understand some of the jargon used in the vast IT world.

Smart Phones: Duration (1hr)
This training module introduces the basic concepts behind smart phones technology and how they have been developed. It also looks at different types of mobile devices such as blackberries and Iphones. Without being too technical, the module gives few practical tips on each devices.

Adobe Flash for beginner, web animation: Duration (8hrs)
This workshop introduces the potential applications for which Adobe Flash can be used on the web. Participants will be introduced to the key concepts of Flash, including the application interface.

Pre-requisites and Audience: Participants should have previously used the World Wide Web and experience of using Microsoft Windows for manipulating files and various applications. Experience of using other Adobe products such as image editing software would also be helpful.
Web 2.0 (2hrs)
This workshop explains how to create a range of content online, from blogs and wikis to online document creation and storage, using tools such as Google Docs. It provides hands on experience in Web 2.0 application.
